Instructor - Adam Weaver
Since an early age, Adam has been interested in Woodcraft, having helped build a cedar strip canoe with his grandfather. After nearly a decade of living in countries all over the world, Adam re-discovered an appreciation for authentic ‘lost crafts’. In 2013, he spent 6 months volunteering in rural Uganda, where he saw the craft of mask and drum carving. Later, he spent some time working on a farm in Wales. Where he met a ‘bodger’, a man who carved stools out of greenwood. This was the first time he had seen a variety of old hand tools, and was inspired. Fast forward to today, Adam now teaches his own wood crafting course at the New Brunswick College of Craft & Design’s Edventures program and continues to experiment with new techniques
