7 WEEK COURSES | $255 + HST (ONE 3 HOUR CLASS PER WEEK FOR 7 WEEKS) Tuesdays 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Starts February 11, 2020

Learn the basics of pottery wheel throwing and take home your finished glazed pieces after this 7 week course. During this course you will be introduced to the pottery wheel and learn the skills involved to make bowls, tumblers, mugs, and more! We will study the three main components of creating with a pottery wheel: Throwing, trimming, and glazing! Come ready to have fun, be creative, learn, and don't be afraid to get your hands muddy!

PLEASE NOTE: On the first evening participants will be required to purchase a half a box of clay approx. $28.15. As well as a set of pottery tools also available in the College Store.

Instructor - Matt Cripps

Matt Cripps was born and raised in Miramichi, NB. After completing high school he moved to Fredericton where he completed a BA in fine arts at St. Thomas University. ​Following his undergrad, he began employment at Gallery 78 in Fredericton, NB. ​He then completed a two year diploma in Fine Craft: Ceramics at the New Brunswick College of Craft of Design (NBCCD). ​He is now enrolled in the Advanced Studio Practice program at NBCCD.

What do I need to bring to the course?

What's the refund policy?

Attendees can receive full refunds up to 7 days before your events start date. After that, a special request will need to be made to the organizer.

Upon cancellation of the workshops due to low enrolment or extenuating circumstance a refund will be granted, Eventbrite will retain processing fees.
