FULL DAY WORKSHOPS | $85 + HST (ONE 6 HOUR CLASS ON A SATURDAY OR SUNDAY)
Learn to unlock the pattern potential in multi-coloured yarns! If you love to crochet, don’t mind unravelling your work in order to get it right, and you love a good challenge this workshop is for you! Each variegated yarn is unique and doesn’t come with instructions. This course will teach you how to organize the seemingly random colours into an argyle pattern by figuring out the right starting points and adjusting the tension of each stitch.
MATERIAL COST: $5.00 - $15.00 poolable yarn will be on sale by instructor in class. Please Note: Participants are required to bring a set of crochet hooks.
Instructor – Cat Candow
Cat Candow, was raised in Germany under her grandmothers sewing table. Cat took her first stitches around age 3, attempting to make a pair of pants for her Teddy. She learned to read and write and at the same time learned crochet and cross stitch, but with much more enthusiasm. She moved to Canada as an exchange student and stayed to complete her Diploma in Fashion Design from the New Brunswick College of Craft & Design (NBCCD). She spent 3 years in England, making theater costumes for a living. Since returning to Canada, Cat has spent the last decade doing all kinds of sewing alterations, mostly rescuing brides from ill-fitting dress disasters.

What's the refund policy?
Attendees can receive full refunds up to 7 days before your events start date. After that, a special request will need to be made to the organizer.
Upon cancellation of the workshops due to low enrolment or extenuating circumstance a refund will be granted, Eventbrite will retain processing fees. If a course is cancelled due to poor weather conditions the course will be rescheduled to the best of our abilities.
