Do you have a little experience or are you brand new to pottery? Do you want to learn the basics in an enriching and stimulating environment? Then you need to sign up with the wonderful Leigh Merritt! Beginner throwing techniques, centering and trimming will be covered while working hands on with a genuine potter’s wheel. This timeless craft will be discussed in an intimate and small class situation where imagination abounds. Leigh will even show you how to decorate your finished pieces, making them unique and truly yours. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity!
MATERIAL COST: ___ to be paid to the instructor on the day of the workshop.
PLEASE NOTE: On the first evening participants will be required to purchase a half box of clay approx. $ $28.15. As well as a set of pottery tools also available in the Student Store.
Any Participants who have their own Cone 6 Clay, or their own tools are welcome to join.
Instructor - Leigh Merritt
Leigh Merritt was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick and grew up in the rural community of Tay Creek where he currently resides. After completing his BA at St.
Thomas University in 2005 he went on to study at the New Brunswick College of Craft & Design (NBCCD). He earned his Foundation Visual Arts Certificate in 2006, a Certificate in Specialty Photography in 2008, a Diploma in Fine Craft – Ceramics in 2010, and the certificate in Advanced Studies Visual Arts in 2011.

What's the refund policy?
Attendees can receive full refunds up to 7 days before your events start date. After that, a special request will need to be made to the organizer.
Upon cancellation of the workshops due to low enrolment or extenuating circumstance a refund will be granted, Eventbrite will retain processing fees.
