7 WEEK WORKSHOPS | $255.00+ HST (SEVEN 3 HOUR CLASSES ONCE A WEEK)

Tuesdays from 6:00pm - 9:00pm starting October 15

Learn the basics of wet felting in 3D with Tina Sharapova. Over the course of 7 weeks learn we will learn how to incorporating silks and yarn, while creating toys and hats that are both colourful and fun, yet practical and useful in everyday life. Participants can choose their difficulty level based on their experience. Each of the projects are flexible and adaptable to every learning style. Get sudsy and dive into complex felted structures and forms and bring home some amazing toys, and hats.

MATERIAL COST: $50.00 to be paid to the instructor on the day of the workshop.

Instructor: Tina Sharapova

Tina Sharapova was born in Moscow, Russia. She tried different handicrafts as a child and decided to become an artist to make beautiful things. Her formal art training took place at the Moscow College of Arts and Crafts with majors in carpets and tapestry making. Eventually she came to felt-making, which was close to the carpets for its soft texture and great many usages. In 2016 Tina came to Fredericton, New Brunswick, to get a diploma in Textile Design at the New Brunswick College of Craft & Design (NBCCD), she graduated in summer 2018. Tina is also a member of NB Crafts Council.

What do I need to bring to the course?

What's the refund policy?

Attendees can receive full refunds up to 7 days before your events start date. After that, a special request will need to be made to the organizer.

Upon cancellation of the workshops due to low enrolment or extenuating circumstance a refund will be granted, Eventbrite will retain processing fees.
