Description

HALF DAY WORKSHOPS | $45.00+ HST (ONE 6 HOUR CLASS ON A SATURDAY OR SUNDAY)

Do you LOVE animals? Do you LOVE rainbows? Do you want to learn about limited palettes and try working with watercolours? If so, this workshop is for you! We’ll be working with a three colour limited palette (CMY) with which we will explore how with just those three colours we are able to create a rainbow portrait of your pet, or favourite animal. No drawing experience required! After reserving your space in the workshop, please submit a clear, high-resolution photo of your pet or favourite animal you wish to paint to the provided email. The instructor Charlie Proulx will create a line drawing of your pet/animal for you to paint during the workshop.

MATERIAL COST: $15.00 to be paid to the instructor on the day of the workshop.

Instructor: Charlie Proulx

Charlie Proulx is a self-taught artist who specializes in animal portraits, ink, and watercolour. She has always enjoyed art, but only recently began pursuing it as a career after having to retire from dog training due to illness. Charlie primarily works with private clients, creating pet portraits, while continuing to paint and draw a wide variety of animals in her personal work.
